The aesthetically pleasing above deck design encapsulates the motor and drive in a IP66 rated watertight case, saving space below deck and allowing simple routine maintenance. The high-pressure die cast, marine grade, alloy case is chromate passivated and polyester powder coated for unsurpassed marine protection. The proven and patented pressure arm system, within a safe, enclosed design, guarantees trouble free rode transition from rope to chain, while an integrated composite nylon through deck hawse pipe eases installation and ensures smooth, snag free operation. The heavy duty, dual direction motor incorporates new technology features, including integrated wiring for quick electrical installation, and is easily removed for simple routine electric brush maintenance. The high efficiency 59:1 ration straight cut, spur gearbox incorporates a robust non-backwind mechanism. The high quality chrome finished and innovative chainwheel, constructed of marine-grade alloy bronze, is suitable for use with either 3-strand or 8-plait rope. Standard equipment includes an up/down remote control panel, a dual direction control system, a circuit breaker/isolator panel, and an emergency free fall activation lever.
